I am the eldest of three, and I turn 23 on 5th December - that’s Walt Disney’s birthday :D 

I love Disney. Like looooooove. I also like kissing scenes a lot, and romance, but on the other hand I am drawn to heartbreak and tragedy. 

While I love all Disney movies I actually do not believe in romantic love in real life, not for myself anyway. I think real life is a lot more tarnished than it seems in the fairytale worlds that I so love. 

I fangirl a lot. Over actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Heath Ledger, James Franco, Hugh Jackman, Ashton Kutcher, and singers like Michael Jackson, Ne-yo and John Mayer. And women, too, such as Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba, Adele. You know. The works. 

And I won’t deny it - I love having followers. And I think that tumblr really is an addiction not only because of the awesome things you find here, but for the awesome people. I mean there’s nothing quite like that feeling when the person you reblog a lot follows you suddenly on tumblr. 

Still, real life beckons, and I think when I graduate I will have a lot less time to come on here. 

However, I’m not graduating yet and I’m having my summer holidays soooo. ;)

A large amount of the posts I make myself are centered around Peter Pan, and various other Disney movies such as Tangled, Aladdin, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Tarzan. 

I love Tarzan. I think he is my favourite male hero. 

Prince Phillip is my favourite prince, though.

And Ariel my favourite character, while Aurora my favourite princess, and Pocahontas my favourite female protagonist.

Movie that makes me cry every time: The Fox and the Hound.

Movie that makes me laugh every time: The Emperor’s New Groove.

Non-Disney movies that I also love: Anastasia, Thumbelina and the Swan Princess, among others. I lovelovelove Dimitri.

I also post/reblog a lot of Harry Potter, Batman, Inception, Supernatural, Leonardo DiCaprio movies and movies such as He’s just not that into you which touch on relationships and love. Old films and stars like Audrey Hepburn and James Dean are not exempt from the list.

Also, I’m majoring in English Literature and graduating this July (2012). My favourite authors are: Roald Dahl, C.S. Lewis, Oscar Wilde, Neil Gaiman, Katherine Vaz, Jean Rhys, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Lewis Carroll…. and many more.

My favourite books include: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, Good Morning, Midnight by Rhys, Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie, Night by Elie Wiesel, The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald, Alice in Wonderland by Carroll, The Graveyard Book by Gaiman, Kokoro by Natsume Soseki, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Wilde, Jean Toomer’s Cane, and my favourite anthology is My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me, which is an exquisite collection of fairytale retellings.   :)
